It's important to read with your child at home, discussing the text. Tell your parents about Art Felting today! It was such a neat opportunity to learn from a textile artist. Grade fours used dyed wool (called roving) to make a beautiful Alberta landscape!
Check out the following video and have a conversation with your parents about how you can take a stand against bullying! Last week, we had a special guest who taught students all kinds of cultural dances, including First Nations, African and Bollywood! They had a blast learning dance moves and learning about different cultures! Today, students visited the Makerspace to learn about pulleys. Working in groups, students built their own pulleys! Ms. McIntosh and Mrs. McLean were impressed by their creativity and ingenuity. They learned a lot about simple machines, teamwork and problem-solving!
